Chapter 445
Mia nodded obediently. "Okay, but Sarah, how are you going to get to and from work?"
Sarah shook her head. "I've been suspended."
Mia's eyes widened in shock. "Suspended? Why?"
"This case involves me," Sarah said calmly. "Tina did write those things in my office. The media is relentless, and
there are eyes everywhere. Even if Dean Larson believes in me, he still has to put on a show."
She spoke about it so lightly, as if she were simply discussing what to have for dinner.
Mia clenched her fists. "Sarah, | believe in you. If you need anything, please tell me. I'll help however | can."
She wasn't the only one who felt this way. Zachary wanted to check on Sarah too, but his presence would only
make the situation worse.
Sarah had already packed up her things to head home. Before she left, she warned Mia, "Don't leave with me.
The moment | step outside, I'm going to be surrounded."
Mia hesitated but nodded. "Alright."
She knew Sarah was protecting her and didn't want to drag her into this mess any further.
As expected, the moment Sarah stepped out of the building, the reporters swarmed her.
At the stime, Mia also left the campus, but with her striking presence, she too was immediately recognized

"Miss Sanders, is it true that you've been suspended?"
"Can you tell us more about the details?"
"Miss Sanders, did you pressure Miss Reynolds into defending you, or did she speak up on her own? Please
answer the question!"
Sarah looked down at the reporter who asked, her expression cold and unreadable. "I have been suspended, but
I will not confess to something | didn't do. | am not guilty."
With that, she turned and walked away, her face emotionless, refusing to let them get anything more out of her.
At one in the morning, Zachary was still in his office, reviewing documents. His assistant placed a folder in front
of him and spoke in a low voice.
"Mr. Reynolds, the police investigated the rooftop where Tina jumped. They found her footprints—but they also
found another set belonging to someone else. There were also signs of a struggle. Yet, for sreason, none of
this made it into the official report. The final version of the forensic analysis didn't even mention these two key
pieces of evidence."
Zachary flipped through the pages carefully. The documents in his hands contained the first version of the case
report, the most detailed version before it had been edited for submission.
"You're saying Tina might not have committed suicide-she was murdered?" His brows furrowed deeply.
The assistant nodded. "The first officers on the scene also concluded it was likely a homicide. But somehow, that
conclusion was buried."
Zachary's face darkened.
Who killed Tina?
Who had the power to suppress such important evidence?
If he could get this report, then someone else could too-most likely, Melvin.
As expected, Melvin had already obtained the report. Without hesitation, he handed it over to Sarah.

But something still didn't add up—the suicide note was real. The handwriting had been confirmed as Tina's.
"Could it be that she wrote the note earlier and then changed her mind?" Melvin suggested.
Sarah rejected the idea immediately. "Impossible! She hadn't finished writing it— she only wrote the first half."
Suddenly, a memory surfaced in Sarah's mind.
A fragment of something... something she had overlooked before.

And in that stillness, under the weight of her own thoughts, she suddenly found herself spiraling deeper into
