Jocelyn folded her arms, her voice sharp. “Ms. Fletcher, no offense, but sneaking into the main bedroom at
night? And then barging into the bathroom? People could get the wrong idea about what you're up to.”
Sierra burned with rage. She was bleeding, dizzy, and sitting helplessly on the floor, but no one was

Before long, the ambulance arrived. Two paramedics lifted Sierra onto a stretcher.
“Halsey,” Sierra begged, “I don’t have any friends here. Can you cwith me?”
Halsey smiled sweetly. “Of course. I'll go with you.”
Shaun's face was gloomy, his anger
