Chapter 360

Scarlett shoved him away. "Get lost! Who do you think you are?"

"Don't be so uptight! Everyone's here for fun. | wouldn't even bother with you if you weren't

pretty!" He pushed his glass against her lips. "Drink it!"

Scarlett knocked the glass away. The sharp sound of shattering glass made everyone around them

freeze.

The noise helped clear her head somewhat. "Stay away from me! Get out!"

The man grabbed Scarlett and started dragging her toward a private room, his eyes gleaming with

disgusting intent.

The other bar patrons ignored the scene, used to such incidents and unwilling to interfere.

At the room's entrance, she started vomiting violently. The mix of alcohol and sweat made her even

more nauseated.

The man looked at her with disgust but wasn't willing to give up his prey. After she finished

retching, he pulled her into the room, throwing her onto the couch when she had no strength to

resist.

After closing the door, he finally showed his true nature, like a predator baring its fangs.

He grabbed her hand. "Letshow you a good time!"

Scarlett felt sick from his sweaty stench as she struggled to push him away. "Let go! | want to leave!"

She stumbled toward the door, but he kept his grip on her hand.

"Why are you fighting? I'll make you feel good!" He tried to pin her down.

"Ah!" The man screamed as Scarlett's nails raked across his face.

Enraged by the pain, his eyes turned bloodshot. He slapped her hard across the face.

The slap echoed in the empty room. He'd hit her with full force, and she felt her cheek swelling, but it helped

clear her mind.

Finally grasping her situation, she shouted, "Letout! Or I'm calling the police!"

The man grabbed both her hands again. She'd almost reached the door - the handle was just inches away, but

that short distance felt impossible to cross as he dragged her back.

"Help! Someone help me!" she screamed desperately.

Outside Morning Star Bar, Steven and his friends were just entering.

Passing by the private room, he heard a commotion and a familiar voice.

"Get off me!"

It was Scarlett!

The man, angered by Scarlett's cursing, raised his hand to strike. "You little bitch! Stop playing hard

to get!"

Steven burst through the door just as the man was about to hit her.

Before the slap could land, Scarlett, half-conscious, saw Steven step in front of her, catching the

man's arm mid-swing.

The man glared at Steven like a madman. "Oh, playing hero, are we? Know your place, kid! Let go,

or you'll regret it!"

Steven kept his grip firm, giving the man an icy stare. "Leave."

"You-!"

Just then, the bar's security rushed in and dragged the man away.

The manager hurried over to apologize to Steven. "Mr. Miller, we're terribly sorry.

All your drinks tonight are on the house."

Steven brushed off his hands as if he'd touched something filthy.
