Chapter 435
Seeing that the student hadn't started writing, Sarah gently nudged her. "There's a dessert shop called ‘Taste
Avenue’. It's my favorite. If you can't think of anything else, why not set aside an hour to try it? You've lived
through so much bitterness —shouldn't you at least taste something sweet?"
The student hesitated for a moment before finally writing ‘Taste Avenue’ in the first box.
Sarah smiled and continued, "Think back on everything you've ever wanted to do, and list it all down. Treat it like
a bucket list—things you've wanted to eat but never allowed yourself to, things you wanted to buy but never did.
Write them all down."
After a long moment of internal struggle, the student added a few more items to the list.
"Bungee jumping? That's a great choice!" Sarah commented. "They say the experience is like a near-death
moment, and when you walk away afterward, it feels like being reborn."
Then she added, "But you forgot to factor in travel time. There's no bungee jumping in East Coast, right? Just
getting there and back would take about four hours, plus an hour for the actual jump."
Tina Mendes, the student, obediently crossed out four boxes and wrote *bungee jumping* in the fifth.
"What about your family?" Sarah asked gently. "Wouldn't you want to spend stwith them in your final
days?"

With Sarah's quiet guidance, Tina continued filling in the boxes one by one. When only three empty boxes
remained, Sarah asked, "Do you have a favorite idol?"
"Yes," Tina replied.
"Then why not go to a concert or a fan meet? If they mean so much to you, shouldn't you see them at least
once?" Sarah suggested.
Tina nodded and added 'concert' to the list.
"Don't forget to account for travel time!"
Tina crossed out two more boxes. But when she picked up her pen to cross out another, she mumbled, "There's
not enough time."
Sarah picked up the sheet and examined it with a satisfied smile. "Your schedule looks pretty packed. You have
so many things you still want to do. Besides concerts, is there anything else?"
"Kite flying... roller coasters..."
"Now, do you feel like three days isn't enough tto do everything?" Sarah asked softly.
Tina nodded. Even though she still wanted to die, when she thought about all the things she hadn't done yet—all
the wishes she had yet to fulfill, the regrets she hadn't made up for-three days didn't seem nearly enough.
Sarah smiled and neatly folded the paper. "If three days aren't enough, then even a month wouldn't be. The
more tyou have, the more things you'll want to do. A year, ten years..... every stage of life is meant to be
experienced."
She slid the folded paper back in front of Tina. "Now, lettell you something— you have more than just three
days. You have all the tyou need to do

Sarah felt a faint unease creep into her heart. "An illness?"
Tina's gaze dropped, her voice hollow. "HIV. It's incurable."
A heavy silence fell between them.
