Chapter 615
Manager Sullivan's face lit up with excitement, but he had to ask, "Did you see her body?"
"Manager, last night | made sure to poke more holes in that already leaky roof. Just as expected, the house
collapsed during the night. The thunder was so loud nobody heard a thing. By now, she's definitely buried under
the rubble. Enough thas passed - she's already dead," Charlie said confidently.
Still looking concerned, Manager Sullivan asked, "Did Mr. Lambert know it too?"
"Mr. Lambert? He doesn't know anything yet. But by the the finds out, it'll be too late," Charlie replied with a
smirk.
Manager Sullivan patted his shoulder, then pointed at the injuries on his face. "What happened there?"
Charlie was forthcoming. In fact, he hoped Manager Sullivan might help him.
"Manager, | went to the gambling den a few days ago and lost smoney. My wife wouldn't givemore - she
hid it so well | couldn't find it. So | went back yesterday, and before | could even reach the table, I..." He trailed
off, looking defeated.
Understanding immediately, Manager Sullivan chuckled and took a paper bag from his desk drawer, handing it to
Charlie. "You did good work yesterday. Consider this a bonus."
Charlie looked at the bag with satisfaction. As soon as he left the manager's office, he eagerly opened it. Inside
was five thousand dollars!

Manager Sullivan had called all the workers together, including Mr. Lambert. Walking into the meeting hall, Mr.
Lambert hadn't yet grasped what the manager was about to announce, and more importantly, he hadn't seen
Sarah all day.
"Everyone, listen up. Miss Sarah Sanders, who headquarters sent to help solve our problems, tragically died last
night in the heavy rain. | deeply regret this. But those corporate bigwigs don't care about our lives, do they?
Even the person they sent - she was here for days and didn't do a thing," Manager Sullivan said sarcastically.
Mr. Lambert fixated on the news of Sarah's death and instinctively stepped forward. "Sullivan, you said she died -
what happened?"
Manager Sullivan gave him an impatient look. "Mr. Lambert, I'm not surprised you don't know. Yesterday's rain
was intense. The house Miss Sanders stayed in wasn't sturdy, and after two days of downpour, it collapsed early
this morning. The entire structure cdown. She couldn't have survived!"
Mr. Lambert looked at Charlie in disbelief, who quickly turned away, clearly uncomfortable.
Manager Sullivan continued
