Chapter 451
"A cloned license plate?" Zachary's mind stirred.
For sreason, his thoughts drifted back to three years ago-another van, just like this one, had appeared, and
that incident had left Mia with deep, irreparable psychological trauma.
The assistant nodded respectfully. "Yes, sir. A cloned plate. There's no way to trace it."
Sarah sat beside Mia, watching her closely. It had taken so much effort just to get Mia to calm down.
Vivian stood to the side, silently observing the two of them-Sarah gently comforting Mia while Zachary spoke
with his assistant.
She felt like an outsider.
Her hands instinctively clenched behind her back, fingers digging into her palm.
It was suffocating.
A feeling she couldn't describe.
It cfrom Sarah.
It cfrom the way Zachary and Sarah existed in a space where no one else could step in.
Zachary finally turned his gaze toward Vivian. His voice was polite, but distant. "Mia's stable now. You should
head back to the company."
Vivian froze for a moment, then quickly nodded before leaving.
The assistant handed Zachary the tablet before excusing himself-he had work to do and leads to chase down.
Now, only Zachary and Sarah remained in the room.

"Thank you," Zachary said, his voice softer.
Mia's condition was unique-if they had taken her to the hospital, the doctors would've been powerless.
A different psychologist might not have been able to handle it.
Because when Mia had an episode, the only person she truly trusted... was Sarah.
Sarah shook her head, her face pale as she spoke softly. "This is my fault. I'm afraid Mia's episode this twas
intentional-someone wants to seecompletely ruined. It started with Tina, then her mother, and when that
wasn't enough, they went after Mia. Whoever is behind this realized that just Tina's case alone wasn't enough to
stir up a storm, so they escalated it by pushing Mia into a breakdown. Everything was planned."
Zachary's fingers trembled slightly. He was shaken by Sarah's words, but what disturbed him even more was the
realization that this might be the closest they'd gotten to the truth.
"You're saying this was deliberate?"
Sarah nodded and pulled out the evidence that Melvin had gathered, placing it in front of him. "Even Tina's death
wasn't random-it was orchestrated. The fragmented suicide note, two completely different tones in the writing,
and the traces of a struggle at the rooftop where she supposedly jumped..."
"So someone's pulling the strings?" Zachary frowned.
"Yes," Sarah confirmed. "And the inteis already in chaos."
She hadn't even bothered to check the latest discussions-there was no point. It
was just the saccusations repeated in different words.
Then she looked him directly in the eyes. "There's one more thing. Did you notice something about Vivian
today?"
Zachary's expression darkened.
Vivian's behavior had been odd.

"| did," Zachary admitted.
"Keep investigating the van. That's our next lead."
Zachary hesitated, glancing toward Mia. "And her...?"
Sarah reassured him, "She'll be fine with me. If anything changes, I'll call you." Zachary nodded solemnly.
Sarah stood up. "I'll handle Mia. You focus on the van. But be careful."

Inside the dean's office, Professor Wells entered with a serious expression.
Dean Larson barely looked up, as if he had been expecting him. "Mrs. Mendes still there?" he asked.
