Bella held Mila’s hand tightly and pressed with concern, “Aunt Mila, have you really been secretly sending people to follow Jace?

How did you even find him?!”

Mila pressed her lips tightly together and remained silent.

“Aunt Mila, you must tellthe truth!” Bella's anxious gaze turned sharper than ever. “Leaving aside the fact that we cannot even

verify Jace’s true identity—let’s assfor a moment he really is Hugh. Even then, he hadpletely lost his memory and now

works for our enemy.

“He’s a ruthless and extremely dangerous man! You have never done this kind of shadowing before. If he discovers you, you'll be

in grave danger! With Wyatt gravely ill, our family can’t afford for anyone else to get into trouble!”

As she spoke, Bella's eyes turned red, and she was on the verge of tears.
